Remembering the PCI Foundation in Your Estate

The PCI Foundation works to continuously educate and uplight the future generation of precast concrete designers. Your legacy donation can play a special role in ensuring the continued growth and education of our industry.

Perhaps you have thought about making a charitable gift to the PCI Foundation, but didn't think you could afford it right now. Your legacy gift gives you the power to make a gift larger than you possibly could in your lifetime - by making a gift called a bequest. A bequest can be made through a will or trust. Or, it can simply be made by listing the PCI Foundation as a beneficiary of a bank account, IRA account, life insurance policy, company retirement plan, pension, annuity or other instruement that allows you to designate funds to a beneficiary.

Legal Designation and Sample Bequest Language

Leaving a bequest through your will or trust is easy - simply include the following language:

I give ("x" dollars or "x" percent of all of the residue of my estate) to the PCI Foundation, an Illinois nonprofit corporate
with principal offices located at 200 W Adams, Suite 2100, Chicago, Illinois 60606 for its general purposes

If you wish to give a bequest for a specific program or purpose, you can use the following language

I give ("x" dollars or "x" percent of all of the residue of my estate) to the PCI Foundation, an Illinois nonprofit
corporate
with principal offices located at 200 W Adams, Suite 2100, Chicago, Illinois 60606, to be used for the
following purpose (state the purpose). If, in the future, it is the opinion of the Board of Trustees of the PCI Foundation
that all or part of the income of this fund cannot be usefully applied to such purpose, it may be used
for any related purpose which in the opinion of the Board of Trustees will most nearly accomplish my wishes.
